"The Oxford University Press (Glossary of Marketing Terms) defines global marketing as 'marketing on a worldwide scale reconciling or taking commercial advantage of global operational differences, similarities and opportunities in order to meet global objectives.'"* |

goods or services beyond the confines of its country of origin. "With the proliferation of the Internet and e-commerce (electronic commerce), if a business is online, it is a global business.
