There are 12 audio performances (not including the Test Track subsequently described) located on this website, averaging 2.5 minutes each and totaling about 30 minutes.  Two formats are used for each audio track: WAV and MP3.

Streaming audio files are WAV (Wavetable) files: bite rate 705 kbps, audio sample size 16 bit, sample rate 22 kHz, stereo, and averaging 13,000 KB each.

Downloadable audio files are MP3 (MPEG layer-3): bite rate 128 kbps, audio sample rate 32 kHz, 2-channel stereo, and averaging 2400 KB each.

Warning, 'Press To Play' streaming audio may not work with all Web Browser programs and they function best with Internet Explorer (2006).  Moreover, streaming audio will work best with a high-speed internet connection and may function very poorly or not at all with a slow dial-up Modem (or the equivalent).

Streaming audio requires high System Resources and may cause some computers to slow down, freeze or crash, so use them at your own discretion and at your own risk (for more information see Important Legal Information).

To circumvent such problems and provide a convenient alternative to using streaming media are MP3 Audio Files that can be downloaded to your computer then played with the Media Player program of your choice.

If you are at all concerned about using streaming media then we officially advise you that downloading the MP3 audio files is a safer alternative or simply read the text on the webpage instead.

If you have inside your computer an Intel Pentium model Three, Four, or better CPU (or the equivalent), 256 MB (megabytes) of RAM or more, and an up-to-date Web Browser program capable of processing internet streaming media technology then it is very unlike you will have any problems with the streaming audio available at this website.  Moreover, even if your computer does slow down, freeze, or crash it is very unlikely to cause any serious or permanent problems and nothing a reboot cannot fix.

Notwithstanding, to minimize the risk of computer problems we recommend the following seven Cautionary Measures:

(1)  Check the System Specifications of your computer and your Web Browser program to make sure you have the necessary hardware and software System Requirements to effectively process internet streaming media technology.

(2)  Use streaming media with only a broadband connection because it will perform very poorly or not at all with a slow dial-up Modem (or the equivalent).

(3)  Do not have any data files open when using this website's 'Press To Play' streaming audio.  Save and close all data files to prevent data lose if your computer happens to crash.

(4)  It is always advisable for everybody to regularly backup their data files, computer programs, and everything else on their hard drive they value on an external storage device, such as a CD-ROM or DVD.

(5)  To free up your System Resources close all other programs except the Web Browser program you are using to access this website.

(6)  To ensure you have freed up maximum System Resources you may want to Restart your computer before using this website's 'Press to Play' boxes.

(7)   It is highly advisable to wait until the webpage fully downloads (as shown in the Status Bar of your Web Browser program before pressing any 'Play Box' to prevent big gaps and pauses in the streaming audio or any other potential problems, see the screenshots below:
 

Provided for your convenience and to alleviate your concerns is a five second WAV audio file 'TEST TRACK' that can be used to check your computer's compatibility with the streaming audio found on this website.

It is very unlike the 5 second, 444 KB audio file will cause your computer to crash unless you have a very old or dysfunctional system; however, you are officially advised to employ the seven Cautionary Measures described above just in case.
