EMPLOYMENT APPLICATIONS & INQUIRES Employment applications and

NO EMPLOYMENT RELATED PHONE CALLS PLEASE! I know this will inconvenience some, but Marketing Marksman™ is an internet company with no physical brick-and-mortar location existing exclusively in cyberspace. More pertinently, regular access to a private computer with internet access and e-mail is a mandatory requirement of all employees and associates (an e-mail account provided for free by Marketing Marksman™). If you do not have an e-mail account you can sign-up for one for free at popular websites like HotMail, NetZero, Yahoo, etc. If you do not have a computer or internet access the Calgary Public Library and numerous employment centers offer access for free or at a low cost. Internet access can also be purchased at various vendors like Kinkos. NO EMPLOYMENT RELATED FACSIMILES PLEASE! In order to help the environment and reduce waste, Marketing Marksman™ does not accept employment applications or inquires by facsimile machine (i.e. fax). We only except environmental friendly digital applications VIA the internet. Again, I know this will inconvenience some, but if you not have access to and skill with a computer, the internet, and e-mail then there is no point in forwarding your CV because they are mandatory requirement of working for a cyberspace company like Marketing Marksman™.
Unfortunately, we do not have the time to deal with phone calls from every eager job seeker and our environmental commitment described in the paragraphs above applies to career inquires as well as applications. Thus, our firm policy is ... NO EMPLOYMENT RELATED PHONE CALLS OR FAXES PLEASE!
We strongly recommended your Resume be a maximum of two pages and your Cover Letter be a maximum of one-page. If you have letters of reference please feel free to included them as well for they will assist greatly in furthering your candidacy. Also, if you have a career website please let us know for it is sure to be looked over. The maximum size of all e-mail and all its attachments is 10 MB.
All incoming e-mails and their attachments are scanned for viruses twice by both our web hosting provider and our own computers. If an e-mail is found to have a virus it is tagged and automatically placed on an Auto-Delete List; accordingly, Marketing Marksman™ will never accept an e-mail from that address again. So please triple-check that your computer has not been inflected before e-mailing us.

STANDARD RECRUITMENT
PROCESS
Note: This section is a work-in-progress currently being update for January 2009. The following describes the usually process for dealing with employment applications. We reserve the right to amended these procedures when deemed necessary. (1) Application Period » The employment opportunity will be advertised and applications will be accepted up to the deadline date, normally one week. To be fair to everybody, after the deadline date any additional application will be automatically deleted without review. (2) Confirmation » After your e-mail has been received by the Marketing Marksman™ server an auto-response will automatically be generated confirming your messages was successfully submitted. If you do not receive this auto-response within a few hours you may wish to resend your e-mail. It is very rare our e-mail server will fail. If you do not receive the auto-response or your e-mail bounces back then 99% of the time the error is on the part of the sender. If your e-mail is rejected by our server it is usually because it is too large (i.e. over 10 MB) or a virus has been detected or suspected. If everything else fails you, then we recommended contacting us by our Online Form or sending a plain-text e-mail without any attachment using another Marketing Marksman™ e-mail to let us know. Click the following link for Marketing Marksman™ Contact Information. If the communication problem is on our end we promise to do whatever is necessary to secure your employment application. (3) Thank You » We thank all candidates for applying for a Marketing Marksman opportunity but only selected candidates will be contacted further. (4) Additional Info » After applications are reviewed we may e-mail you to request additional information. (5) Phone Interview » Selected candidates will be e-mails to arrange a 30 to 60 minute phone interview. (6) In-Person Interview » After the phone interviews have been completed selected candidates will be invited to a one-on-one in-person interview usually an hour in length. At that time you will be asked to bring reference and to sign a form allowing us to check your referrals. (7) References » References will be confirmed. Normally three confirmed references are a necessary prerequisite for employment; however, sometimes exceptions might be made. (8) Job Offer » The selected candidate or candidates will be offered the position.
